Parent Review
Higher Learning Academy is by far one of the best choices you could make as a parent. Every parent wants to know their child is left in the hands of someone that will care for them with love, patience and kindness. Higher Learning staff exceeds at all of the above. However, it doesn’t end there. Sending your child to Higher Learning is like gaining extended family members, a village. We all know it takes a village to raise our kids but some struggle to find and/or relay on their village. When you walk through the doors at HLA you can ensure to be greeted with a smile, even addressed by name. The staff genuinely cares how you are doing. If your not your “normal” self they will inquire and be a shoulder to cry on and extra ears when you need someone to listen. Their experience with children is unmatched. Each teacher adds something special to your child’s day.
Dr. Agnes is God sent to the community. She loves what she does and loves each and every kid that come through the door. Not only that, her heart extends to even your financial situation. When I hit hard times she still allowed my son to attend and told me to let her know when I could pay. Words cannot express my gratitude for Dr. Agnes. Over the 3 years my son attended HLA, I fell in love with this school and so did my son.
I served as the Parent Committee President for the 2017-2018 school year. I am a working professional with a very demanding career. HLA made it possible for me to continue to advance in my career as worrying or stressing about my son’s well being was removed from my list of worries. I really want to see HLA continue to expand and reach more kids in the community. If you are looking for a preschool to call home, look no further. I assure you, you will not regret making Higher Learning Academy home for you and your child(ren).
